 115+ assets delivered across digital, print, and physical environments environmental formats
 Defined a unified visual system and brand guide for festival-wide use
 Enabled cross-team execution through modular templates and clear hierarchy

PAAFF 25 marked a milestone year for the Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival. Joining late in the production cycle, my role was to define and implement a cohesive visual language that could unify programming, marketing, and on-site experiences across digital and physical touchpoints.

The work focused on building a scalable system that could support rapid production while maintaining clarity, consistency, and cultural resonance.

I joined the project late in the festival timeline to establish the visual direction for PAAFF 25. I was responsible for defining the core visual language and leading the execution of branding, campaign assets, merchandise, web graphics, and physical design across the festival ecosystem.
The festival required a strong, unified identity under tight timelines and high production volume. Assets needed to be produced quickly across multiple formats while remaining visually consistent and adaptable to evolving programming and logistics.

The challenge was to introduce structure and coherence without slowing production, while ensuring the visual system could scale across digital platforms, print, merchandise, and on-site environments.
The final system supported a cohesive visual presence for PAAFF 25 across all touch-points, from digital campaigns to physical spaces. The structured approach enabled rapid asset production while maintaining consistency, clarity, and brand integrity.

The work demonstrated how design systems thinking can support cultural organizations operating under real-world constraints.
